Riverbank’s Aquabank™ underground alternative power generation facility avoids many of the environmental pitfalls associated with other forms of renewable energy generation such as flooding to create reservoirs, undesirable visual impacts, need for subsidies, higher electricity prices, strained soil conditions for agricultural production, spoiled fish habitat and many other negative effects on various forms of flora, fauna, and endangered animal species.
