The Parker Knoll Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Project is located in Piute County, Utah. The project has been sized at 1,000 MW. The project is a closed-loop pumped storage facility and will have two isolated reservoirs for storage. The project would require an initial fill of 7,900 acre-feet of water and approximately 800 acre-feet of water each year to replace evaporative and seepage losses. The facility is estimated to provide up to ten hours of energy generation per day.
