William Bacon Oliver Lock and Dam Hydroelectric Project
The William Bacon Oliver Lock and Dam Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 13005) is located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama at the existing William Bacon Oliver Lock and Dam. The proposed 11.72-MW project would operate in run-of-river mode using flows from the Black Warrior River. Riverbank filed a PAD for the project with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on May 20, 2011. After completing several engineering and environmental studies to better determine project impacts, a Final License Application was filed on December 14, 2011.
